Within the collection of physical town records located at Town Hall, another Volume 3 of "Selectman's Records" from 1826-1867, bulk 1826-1850 (no records between 1851-1861) has been marked for future digitization.  

The physical, Volume 3 Selectman's Records contains approximately 460 pages. 

Topics include and are not limited to: notes from Town Meetings, appointments, selectman decisions, return of roads (1826, 1827, 1828, 1829) and other substantial notes about construction and development of roads,  votes and election results (1829), decisions related to fowlers, fences, fields, highway surveyors, jury meetings (1829, 1830,1832, 1835), “Kimmisons” of advertisements and roads, “licenses” for sale of spirits (1829, 1830, 1832), marriages, perambulation of town lines between Tamworth and: Ossipee, Burton, Sandwich, Albany, and Eaton, strays, warrants for town meetings, warrants for jury meetings.

Description: This volume contains approximately 90 pages of handwritten vital records.

Note that the title page, generated by the Town of Tamworth, reflects a date range of 1767-1860. However, a handwritten title page states the records date from 1816-1824.
