How to Use "PDF Embed feature" to explore files:

Found at the top of each file, a toolbar provides a series of options to enhance readability and user’s browsing preferences. From left to right, each symbol correlates with an action.

To access a tool with the PDF Embed feature, left click on the symbol. Hovering over the symbol will reveal the function’s name.

Toggle Sidebar:                

Icon appears as open book with text on the left page.  Within “Toggle Sidebar” users have the option to view the file as thumbnail form “Show Thumbnails” or to see the “Document Outline.” Click the icon to close these alternative viewing functions.

Find in Document:          

Icon appears as a magnifying glass. A right click on the magnifying glass will reveal a search box with the corresponding text, “Find in document.” Currently, this feature is not functional.

Previous Page:                 

Icon appears as an arrow pointing up. Left click on the arrow to advance to the previous page.

Next Page:                        

Icon appears as an arrow pointing down. Left click on the arrow to advance to the following page.

Zoom Out:                        

Icon appears as a minus sign. Left click the icon to shrink the current page in view.

Zoom In:                            

Icon appears as a plus sign. Left click the icon to expand the current page in view.

Zoom Window:                

Window appears with a percentage and a drop-down arrow. Left click the arrow to reveal a drop down of zoom options. Options range from percentage to programmed zoom features like: “Automatic Zoom, Actual Size, Page Fit and Page Width.”

Switch to Presentation Mode:       

Icon appears as a screen with a “play button” symbol in the shape of a triangle. Left click on the icon to switch to a full screen view of the file.

Print:                                  

Icon appears as printer. To print the file, left click the icon.

Download:                        

Icon appears as a file folder with an arrow pointing down. Left click the icon to download the file.

Tools:                                 

Icon appears as a double nested arrow pointing to the right. Left click icon to explore page orientation, scrolling, spread options and to learn about document properties.
